Neighborhood
This area is SLC is near Trolley Square which is a historic shopping and dining center in Salt Lake City, Utah, built from the original 1908 trolley car barns, which were converted into a "festival marketplace" in 1972. It's known for its unique architecture, featuring winding hallways, brick and wood floors, and a landmark neon-lit water tower, and houses a mix of local boutiques, national retailers like Whole Foods and Pottery Barn, and restaurants like the Old Spaghetti Factory and Desert Edge Brewery. The site is a National Historic Site and preserves the city's transit history. The unit itself is next door and within walking distance to a Sprouts. Whole Foods is 2.5 blocks away. Trader Joe’s is about 2 blocks away. Light rail is about 1.5 blocks away and many restaurants are all within 1-2 blocks. Excellent area and convenient for everything SLC has to offer. You can be at the slopes within 40 minutes or at the convention center in 10 minute.

Good to know
King sized primary bedroom on the top floor with en-suite bathroom. This is very large bedroom with enough space to basically just hang out here your entire stay and binge watch some TV shows on the large TV. Each of the bedrooms in this unit has a bathroom next to it. The second bed plus bath is also on the top floor. Third bedroom on ground floor as well as the two car garage. The middle floor is very large, open, and spacious. Cherry wood floors in kitchen with large carpeted living room area with flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes to serve up to six. Two car garage is attached and included! An 240V outlet is located in the garage for your EV. Must bring your own charger!
Other Details to Note
Please no parties. This would cause lots of problems! We just can't accomodate and would have to shut anything down as soon as we found out. Best to find another location for your gathering! Also, we have seem some specifically longer vehicles have trouble parking in the two car garage. For example, a Jeep Gladiator (18.2) truck parked fine, but a Dodge Rebel pickup truck (19.5 feet) had to angle itself in. Please take note!

Trolley Square and the surrounding neighborhoods are very walkable — most nearby streets (400 S, 500 S, 600 E, etc.) are easy to navigate on foot and many destinations are just a few blocks away. The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) runs buses and light rail (TRAX) that serve the area: • TRAX Light Rail: The 703 line (Red/Blue/Green depending on routing) stops at Trolley Station, typically about a 5–15 minute walk from the heart of Trolley Square. • Buses: Several UTA bus routes stop nearby (e.g., 4, 205, 209, 455). These stops often require a short walk (5–10 minutes) to reach Trolley Square. • Free Fare Zone: If you travel within downtown SLC (to connected areas), the TRAX and buses can be free under the UTA “Free Fare Zone.”
